Pancake and Traverse Wound Packages
Traverse wound packages provide significantly longer run times at the same operating speed for spiral tape applications compared to the pancake package solution. This compact machine component is suitable for metallic and non-metallic tapes and is especially attractive for long length application where the current “pancake” pad cycle time is low. Maximum rotating speed for the 68kg or 150lb package with dimensions a 610mm or 24in OD by 300mm or 12in width is 1200rpm.
