This high speed cabling capacity is ideally suited for the rigid assembly of individual elements onto bobbins up to 800 mm or 30 in. Multiple driven payoff positions, combined with pancake or traverse wound taping capabilities with the Variable Speed Assembler (VSA), complete the line. Optional twist compensated payoffs combined with filler and interstitial element payoffs make this a highly productive and versatile cabling centre.
Machine Features
- High rotational speeds and line speeds to suit the product and process. Typical application is an 800 mm or 30 in bobbin operating at 1750 rpm or 3500 twists per minute with line speeds to 330 m/min or 1000 ft/min
- Pintle type cradle with pneumatic action
- Available as a speed controlled unit or with a rotating single or dual wheel capstan for heavier products
- Side loaded design with ease of access for all operator functions
- Powered lifting platform with pivoting table for loading and unloading Take-Up reels
- Force vented sound proof enclosure with sandwich sheet metal fixed panels and safely interlocked power assisted doors ensures cool quiet and safe operation
- Typically configured with driven payoffs, traverse wound taping unit and Variable Speed Assembler (VSA)
- Integrated drive and control package with auxiliary equipment to suit each application
